Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory

A4H is pleased to support the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory (KJC) and the professionalization of music education. Known as the most reputed music school in Nepal and one of the top conservatories in South Asia, KJC aims to train the next generation of artists, musicians, producers, sound-engineers, composers, and songwriters. KJC is a unique hub for intercultural exchange, where students of diverse backgrounds meet to learn from each other. Since 2007, KJC has been recruiting highly qualified foreign music teachers, performers, and personnel to train their Nepali faculty and students. Moreover, after completing KFC’s Diploma Course, a great number of Nepali students have been admitted to highly prestigious conservatories in Europe and the U.S. to continue to further their music education.
